New Managing Director at Clemens Kraft

Knud holds a degree in petroleum engineering from NTH/NTNU, obtained in 1988, and a Master of Management from BI, obtained in 2004. He has also completed the non-commissioned officers’ school in the Armed Forces. Knud worked as a petroleum physicist/geologist at Norsk Hydro AS from 1988 to 1991. From 1991 to 2003, he held various positions at Fortum Petroleum AS, working as a geologist and production manager for several fields in the North Sea, as well as commercial manager and sales manager for crude oil, NLG and gas. From 2003 to 2005, he was a director and partner at Econ Analyse AS. He also helped establish an oil company. From 2005 to 2008, Knud was employed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and stationed in London as a special adviser on energy and technology. From 2008 to 2012, he worked as a senior partner at Rystad Energy AS, before becoming Managing Director of Infragas Norge AS in 2012. Since 2019, Knud has run a consultancy business through his own company, Enervitae AS. The company specialises in providing advice on energy and infrastructure.

Knud also has extensive experience in strategy and business development, M&A, efficiency improvement processes and project management. As a leader, he is known for his clear focus on employees and the organisation.
